We’ve been there, so we understand that beginning a new habit, especially as a parent, can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re juggling the demands of caring for a new baby, navigating sleepless nights or managing the busy schedules and needs of older children, it can feel impossible to find time for yourself and fit exercise into your life. We totally get that, because we are mamas too!
The best way to get started with regular exercise, is just to get started! Although we would LOVE to see people exercising 2-3 times each week, it can be hard to maintain that level of consistency when you’re just starting out.
That’s why we encourage our members to start with once a week workouts, and here’s why:
IT’S MANAGEABLE & REALISTIC
Setting a goal of one workout a week feels do-able. It’s just 30 minutes or so carved out of your busy schedule and a small, achievable step toward your fitness goals without feeling like an added stressor. One of the best perks of our Live, Online classes is that they are a full body workout in 30 minutes, and zero travel time!
IT CREATES A ROUTINE
Habits thrive on consistency. By setting aside the same day and time each week, you create a routine that makes exercise feel like a natural part of your life. This one small commitment can be the foundation for a lifelong habit of prioritizing your health. Creating that routine in your family lets them know that your workout time is your protected time each week so that they can plan things around it. Our live, online class schedule rarely changes, but even if it does every once in a while, we still have our on-demand workouts to fall back on!
It BUILDS ACCOUNTABILITY
Whether you attend an in-person workout, or you join us Live, Online, you’re showing up not just for yourself but also for your community. Knowing there’s a live instructor and other people expecting you makes it less tempting to skip. Research shows that people are more likely to follow through when there’s a connection involved.
